ABOUT THE AUTHOR
From Life’s Trials to Words
That Heal Others
Rose Ella Tolleson writes from a place few dare to explore her truth. Her words carry the weight of real-life pain, transformation, and healing. From the heartbreak of losing her mother at just five years old to the silent battles of adulthood, Rose’s journey has never been easy but it has always been real.
Raised by her grandmother in Arkansas after her mother’s passing, Rose grew up fast. She married on the same day she graduated high school and followed a life of work, raising daughters, and caring for loved ones. Along the way, she experienced triumph, heartbreak, and moments of quiet strength that would later find life on the page.
For years, she wrote poetry in her head during long work hours, scribbling verses on scrap paper so she wouldn’t forget them. Those notes became songs, those songs became books, and her books became beacons of hope for readers across all walks of life.
At 62, Rose retired from the working world but stepped into her true calling writing with purpose. She self-published collections of heartfelt poetry, whimsical children’s stories, and deeply personal works rooted in faith. One of her most meaningful books, OMG: You Don’t Believe in God? Jesus Died for You!, speaks directly to those lost in doubt, addiction, and spiritual disconnect.
Rose understands addiction not from a distance, but from experience. Her personal battle with gambling addiction has become part of her mission: to reach those struggling and show them a way back to hope. Whether it’s a young adult curious about casinos or a retiree caught in a quiet spiral, Rose wants her readers to know they are not alone.
Her writing style is simple, lyrical, and deeply emotional. It’s meant for the everyday reader, the brokenhearted, the curious, the hopeful, and the forgotten. She writes for those who feel unseen, and through her honesty, she offers them a voice.
When she’s not writing, Rose enjoys time with her family her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. At 85, she believes she’s living on borrowed time with a mission still burning bright: to share her story and let others know that even after the darkest moments, healing is possible.
